Shimon Bar Yochai and Divorce Story

Sholom Aleichem. The first part is meant to make you smile. The second part is serious stuff. Please read on:

The Talmudic sage Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai was not only known for his Torah scholarship and piety. He also served as a guide to his people.

A couple got married. Their marriage was one of mutual respect and cooperation. Blessed with an ample livelihood and good health, their life together lacked only one thing, children.

Years went by. Aware of the precept in Jewish law that allows divorce if a couple does not have children after many years, the husband decided to seek a divorce. They presented themselves before Rabbi Shimon. Feeling the heartache of their predicament, Rabbi Shimon made a novel suggestion: "If it is a divorce you feel you need, then I will see to it that a divorce is done. However," continued Rabbi Shimon, "just as your wedding was celebrated with great pomp and festival, so too should the end of your marriage be celebrated with great pomp and festival." Though puzzled by this instruction, the couple agreed.

Being of means, the couple saw to it that fine wine should be served at their divorce celebration. The husband drank plenty, and, feeling a bit inebriated, he turned to his soon-to-be-former-wife and said, "My dear wife, choose anything you wish to have from my home to take with you back to your father's house. Take the thing you like best. Take whatever you want." After a few more L" Chaims over good wine, the host fell asleep (some would say “passed out”) on his couch.

The party ended with the host still fast asleep on his couch. Now it was time for the wife to choose from her husband's possessions and return to her father's house. She promptly ordered her servants to carry the couch upon which her husband lay, fast asleep, to her father's home.

Didn't take long before the husband awoke from his stupor to find himself in unexpected surroundings. "Why am I here?" he asked his wife. "Well," she answered, "I looked around our home to find the most precious item that I wanted to bring with me to my father's home. I saw the gold and silver and precious gems. But I could not find anything more precious to me than you. So here you are!"

The couple again presented themselves to Rabbi Shimon. Pleased to hear the wife's cleverness, Rabbi Shimon blessed them with healthy children and indeed, G-d blessed them with children!

In this week's Torah portion, Parshat Ki Seitzei, we read about the laws of a Jewish divorce. The Talmud says that when a couple gets divorced from a first marriage, even the altar in the Holy Temple sheds tears. But there are many ways of describing a sad event. Why the altar shedding tears?

The answer: People are made with various levels of tolerance for suffering. For some people, the mere sight of blood brings them to tears. Others can be surgeons who not only see blood, they cause the bleeding. The inanimate, as is a stone, has no feelings. A person who is not disturbed by sufferings is often compared to stone.

The altar in the Holy Temple was made of stone. Blood was poured on it all day. The stone altar never expressed any emotion. Nevertheless, our sages tell us that when a divorce occurs it is different. Even the cold stone altar which is immune to pain altogether sheds tears from the tragedy of a divorce.

Postscript: I am not judging those who are divorced. Even a necessary and wise divorce does not diminish the tragic reality of the pain that the involved parties endure. May G-d bless our homes with good health, peace, love and tranquility.

May G-d protect our brethren in Israel and the world over from harm. May He protect the armed forces of the United States wherever they may be. May G-d send us Moshiach speedily. Shabbat Shalom! Chazak! L'Chaim!

Who was Hitler really working for?

In 1999, a book was published entitled "The House of Rothschild: The World's Banker 1849-1999 ". It was written by Niall Ferguson, who, according to the inside jacket cover, is "the first historian with unrestricted access to all the surviving Rothschild archives." According to the inside jacket blurb, the book concluded Ferguson's "myth-breaking portrait of one of the most fascinating and powerful families of modern times".

It further stated:

"From the Crimea to World War II, wars repeatedly threatened the stability of the Rothschilds' worldwide empire. Despite these global upheavals, theirs remained the biggest bank in the world up until the First World War, its interests extending far beyond the realm of finance. They controlled a pan-European railway network; they also ran a worldwide mining empire based on Spanish mercury, African gold and diamonds, Burmese rubies and Russian oil. And as the richest family of modern times, they acquired the greatest art collections and built the most sumptuous palaces of the age."

"Their economic might gave them a unique political leverage. Disraeli and Churchill were their friends, Bismarck and Hitler their foes. Yet the Rothschilds' failure to establish themselves successfully in the United States proved fateful. As financial power shifted from London to New York after 1914 and as continental Europe fell under the thrall of Marxism and fascism, the Rothschilds' power waned."

Let's take a closer look.

First of all, Ferguson admits that he was allowed access to Rothschild archives up until 1914…so… so the title is at first exposed to be a little misleading. It should read 1849-1913.

Why was Ferguson denied access into the Rothschild archives of 1914 and beyond? Were the Rothschilds hiding anything? According to the jacket financial power shifted from London to New York…from this we are lead to believe that the Rothschilds (uncharacteristically) had no hand in the carnage of the First and Second World Wars.

It is a matter of history that up until the First World War, the Rothschilds financed both sides of numerous conflicts, reaping rewards from the winners and the losers. Could it be that the Rothschilds did indeed have a hand in the First and Second World War? Could it be that the reason the Rothschilds tried to distance themselves from those wars was because their good name would not have survived had it been associated with the massive slaughter of millions of people, including the millions of European Jews consumed in the Holocaust?

Somehow New York bankers would take the heat for financing the First and Second World War. The financing burden of World War I would fall squarely on the shoulders of John Pierpont Morgan. The Rothschilds would comfortably be able point their collective finger across the Atlantic and keep what remained of their image of respectability. Did the Rothschilds merely deploy a new phase in their banking tactics? Did they simply go from overt war financing to covert war financing? If so, that would mean that they were still financing both sides of the conflicts. Did they finance both the allies and the axis powers during the First and Second World War? If so then the jacket misled us again. If both the allies and the axis powers were customers of the Rothschilds-through their secretly affiliated agents, then they had no foe in Hitler. Hitler would have been a customer. A customer is a friend not a foe. This theory, as outlandish as it may appear is at the very least….plausible.

Taking it another step further. Could it be possible that Hitler was more than a customer? Was Hitler a secret agent of the Rothschilds? "Preposterous!", you may be thinking. After all, didn't Hitler accuse international Jewish bankers of engineering the Versailles Treaty which destroyed Germany financially? Wasn't Hitler's wrath aimed squarely in the direction of the international Jewish bankers, namely the House of Rothschild?

Hitler did say, "The bigger the lie…the more people will believe it".

Think about it...Did Hitler kill any Jewish international bankers? The answer is no.

Not one.

[Note:In fact some members of the Warburg banking family were given a Nazi escort out of Holland in a sealed train. ..When the Gestapo went to the Rothschild mansion to arrest the head of the Vienna branch they were told by the butler to come back the following day. They did. Then they had to wait for the Baron to finish his lunch...There WAS the case of the estranged wife of a French Rothschild. "Why should the Germans harm me?" she had asked her husband in 1940. "I am from an old French family." Despite disowning the Rothschild family name (unheard of!) and reverting to her original title of nobility, she was arrested by the Gestapo in July 1944 and sent by the last transport to Ravensbruck where she was brutally murdered...]

Let's back up a bit here. Let's take a closer look at that financial shift from London to New York. Simply put…the shift from the House of Rothschild to the House of Morgan.

According to Gary Allen's best-selling book "None Dare Call It CONSPIRACY":

"Morgan is referred to by many, including Congressman Louis McFadden, (a banker who for ten years headed the House Banking and Currency Committee), as the top American agent of the English Rothschilds."[Page 44]

So much for the financial shift.

So the question remains…Was Hitler a Rothschild customer or an agent as well?

In 1972, a book was released entitled, "The Mind of Hitler: The Secret War Report" by Walter C. Langer. According to the book, the author, a psychoanalyst, was approached by Col. William "Wild Bill" Donovan, of OSS fame, to conduct a psychological investigation into the mind of Hitler.

Many books on the subject of Adolph Hitler refer to Langer's work. Within the book is a curious investigation into Hitler's origins. In fact, there is mention that Hitler had been linked to the Rothschilds in a book written by an ex-Gestapo officer. Langer notes that the "very intriguing hypothesis" but downplays the Rothschild connection saying, it "is sounder not to base our reconstruction on such slim evidence but to seek firmer foundations. Nevertheless, we can leave it as a possibility that requires further verification."

Was the Hitler-Rothschild link further verified? No. Actually Langer's report, which was not widely circulated, even within the intelligence community, was classified top secret and holed up for 29 years. When it was published, the Rothschild link was downplayed in the Introduction as well as in the Afterword.

The Afterword stated:

"There is no reason to believe the unlikely story told by Langer's informant that Hitler's grandmother Maria Anna Schicklgruber, a peasant woman in her forties from the Waldviertel of rural Austria, had had an intimate liaison with a Baron Rothschild in Vienna…"

Also,

"The point of overriding psychological and historical importance is not whether it is true that Hitler had a Jewish grandfather; but whether he believed that it might be true…"

(Donovan may have wanted us to consider that if there was a slim possibility that Hitler's grandfather was a Rothschild…then Hitler's hatred of Jews stemmed from his revulsion of having Jewish blood coursing through his veins. The last thing Donovan may have wanted us to consider was that Hitler, though illegitimate, was an acknowledged member of the Rothschild family who was assigned a duty that required keeping his loyalties to the banking family very hidden.)

What was not mentioned in the book was that Langer's brother William L. Langer, was head of Donovan's Board of Analysts often referred to as Donovan's "College of Cardinals". Did Donovan really need to understand Hitler or was this report designed to throw off post-war researchers. After all, Donovan was J.P.Morgan's lawyer. J.P.Morgan was the American agent for the English Rothschilds…It's simple math folks. (Incidentally it is known that Donovan had at least one secret meeting with Hitler in the 1920's.)

After 29 years the ex-Gestapo officer's book would be long out of circulation. (Its importance was not appreciated as it came out in 1941, years before the world learned of the Nazi atrocities) The Langer book was designed, quite possibly, to prevent post-war researchers from going through the pains of digging it up….

This researcher did manage to find "Inside The Gestapo",the above-mentioned book written by Hansjurgen Koehler.Koehler was Hitler's bodyguard at Bergestgaden.

I'll leave it to the reader to determine the credibilty of the evidence presented in Koehler's,"Inside The Gestapo".

Here is a tale of courage, integrity and humility that is only now coming to light, some 70 years after the fact.
The Leica is the pioneer 35mm camera. From a nitpicking point of view, it wasn't the very first still camera to use 35mm movie film, but it was the first to be widely publicized and successfully marketed.
It created the "candid camera" boom of the 1930s.
It is a German product - precise, minimalist, utterly efficient. Behind its worldwide acceptance as a creative tool was a family-owned, socially oriented firm that, during the Nazi era, acted with uncommon grace, generosity and modesty.
E. Leitz Inc., designer and manufacturer of Germany's most famous photographic product, saved its Jews.
And Ernst Leitz II, the steely eyed Protestant patriarch who headed the closely held firm as the Holocaust loomed across Europe, acted in such a way as to earn the title, "the photography industry's Schindler."
As George Gilbert, a veteran writer on topics photographic, told the story at last week's convention of the Leica Historical Society of America in Portland, Ore., Leitz Inc., founded in Wetzlar in 1869, had a tradition of enlightened behavior toward its workers.
Pensions, sick leave, health insurance - all were instituted early on at Leitz, which depended for its work force upon generations of skilled employees - many of whom were Jewish.

The 'Leica Freedom Train'

As soon as Adolf Hitler was named chancellor of Germany in 1933, Ernst Leitz II began receiving frantic calls from Jewish associates, asking for his help in getting them and their families out of the country.
As Christians, Leitz and his family were immune to Nazi Germany's Nuremberg laws, which restricted the movement of Jews and limited their professional activities.
To help his Jewish workers and colleagues, Leitz quietly established what has become known among historians of the Holocaust as "the Leica Freedom Train," a covert means of allowing Jews to leave Germany in the guise of Leitz employees being assigned overseas.
Employees, retailers, family members, even friends of family members were "assigned" to Leitz sales offices inFrance, Britain, Hong Kong and the United States.
Leitz's activities intensified after the Kristallnacht of November 1938, during which synagogues and Jewish shops were burned across Germany.
Before long, German "employees" were disembarking from the ocean liner Bremen at a New York pier and making their way to the Manhattan office of Leitz Inc., where executives quickly found them jobs in the photographic industry.
Each new arrival had around his or her neck the symbol of freedom - a new Leica.
The refugees were paid a stipend until they could find work. Out of this migration came designers, repair technicians, salespeople, marketers and writers for the photographic press.

Keeping the story quiet

The "Leica Freedom Train" was at its height in 1938 and early 1939, delivering groups of refugees to New Yorkevery few weeks. Then, with the invasion of Poland on Sept. 1, 1939, Germany closed its borders.
By that time, hundreds of endangered Jews had escaped to America, thanks to the Leitzes' efforts.
How did Ernst Leitz II and his staff get away with it? Leitz Inc. was an internationally recognized brand that reflected credit on the newly resurgent Reich. The company produced range-finders and other optical systems for the German military. Also, the Nazi government desperately needed hard currency from abroad, and Leitz's single biggest market for optical goods was the United States.
Even so, members of the Leitz family and firm suffered for their good works. A top executive, Alfred Turk, was jailed for working to help Jews and freed only after the payment of a large bribe.
Leitz's daughter, Elsie Kuhn-Leitz, was imprisoned by the Gestapo after she was caught at the border, helping Jewish women cross into Switzerland. She eventually was freed but endured rough treatment in the course of questioning.
She also fell under suspicion when she attempted to improve the living conditions of 700 to 800 Ukrainian slave laborers, all of them women, who had been assigned to work in the plant during the 1940s.
(After the war, Kuhn-Leitz received numerous honors for her humanitarian efforts, among them the Officier d'honneur des Palms Academic from France in 1965 and the Aristide Briand Medal from the European Academy in the 1970s.)
Why has no one told this story until now? According to the late Norman Lipton, a freelance writer and editor, the Leitz family wanted no publicity for its heroic efforts.
Only after the last member of the Leitz family was dead did the "Leica Freedom Train" finally come to light.
It is now the subject of a book, "The Greatest Invention of the Leitz Family: The Leica Freedom Train," by Frank Dabba Smith, a California- born rabbi currently living in England.

You see Haifa University is home to the mass libeler Steven Plaut.
And he just disgraces the "good" name of the school on a daily basis. I
am one victim of his favorite slander, that of calling innocent people
"neo-Nazis." Note how Haifa University tolerated his humiliation in an

spoofing and spamming activities
Messages posted on 13 April 2004 to the ALEF electronic discussion
forum
(which is based at the University of Haifa) seem to indicate something
about Plaut's mentality. These messages, which were posted to ALEF by
somebody else and which seem to report on an email conversation that
Plaut had with someone who was banned from the ALEF forum for excessive
spamming, seem to indicate that Plaut boasted about stealing the ALEF
membership list so that messages could be sent to ALEF members without
being passed through the ALEF system. Specifically, Plaut seems to have
written the following. The typographical errors appeared in the
original:

list,
use any email and send to: (via BCC so they do not know what you are
doing):
...
Put the alef address in the header and write (alef) before
subject and they will think it is coming thru their list!
He also seemed to be connected with somebody called Rocky who,
pretending to be a pro-Zionism Palestinian living in the West Bank,
used
the pseudonym "Yusuf" to plague the ALEF list with racist emails until
he was excluded from the forum. Look at Rocky's description to see how
Rocky finally made a mistake which spilled the beans.

Rocky
Rocky, apparently a friend of Steven Plaut (certainly a fellow
conspirator), is a Zionist idiot who harassed the ALEF electronic
discussion forum for a period during the Autumn of 2004.
Rocky masqueraded as a pro-Zionist Palestinian Arab living in the West
Bank, using the pseudonyms "Yusuf Abdullah" and "Yusuf Chouri" for this
invented persona.
Unfortunately for himself and for Plaut, Rocky screwed up, as he
confesses in the first email quoted below, which he sent to Plaut but
which he accidentally copied to all the people named in the cc
(carbon-copy distribution) list for the message. One of the recipients,
Yael Korin, copied it to the ALEF forum. Rocky must have been very het
up when he sent this email, because, when sending it, he repeated the
same error that he admits in the email -- that is, he copied what was
intended to be a private conspiratorial message to many of the people
who were the intended victims of his conspiracy.
Incidentally, Rocky's repeated use of the acronym "BBC" below is
incorrect -- it should be "BCC" or "bcc" (blind carbon-copy
distribution). Coming on top of the fact that his attempted scam was
based on the use of bcc distribution, Rocky's not knowing the correct
name for the feature is is just one more indication of the fact that he
is a schmuck. Dr. Plaut really should choose his fellow conspirators
more carefully.
The emphasis on blind carbon-copy (bcc) is especially interesting
because it is reminiscent of an instruction that Plaut had given a few
months earlier: in April 2004, Plaut had boasted that he had stolen the
ALEF emailing list and said that the best way to fool ALEF subscribers
into believing that they were receiving messages from the ALEF server
was to use bcc when sending out mass-mailings -- see the biographical
entry for Plaut.
Anyhow, here is the email in which Rocky confesses his mistake to
Steven
Plaut. The typographical errors appeared in the original:

email went out with those first 25. I'm usually very careful about
things like that which is why I generally only use BBC. But my mind
is pre-occupied with so many other things that need to be done that I
got careless.

/As Israel approached the 10th anniversary of the Rabin assassination,
Yediot Ahronot published a survey which showed that 35 percent of
Israelis did not believe the government's version of the murder.
Discounting the Arab sector, which has almost no knowledge of the
issue,
close to half of all Israeli Jews believe or suspect the government is
lying to them about the circumstances of Rabin's demise.

Just previous to the release of the poll, long and, I would say,
respectful features about me were printed in a wide variety of Hebrew
publications including Anashim (People), ShofarNews and Ma'ariv. In the
wake of the poll, I was invited to appear on four television programs
in
a week, including the very staid and establishment "London &
Kirschenbaum" and "Hok Vetzedek" (Law and Justice).

And why not? A good portion of the reason for the poll's result was
directly attributable to my book, "Who Murdered Yitzhak Rabin?", which
has sold over 34,000 copies in six languages.

I have achieved that elusive prize which escapes almost many Anglo
writers: widespread recognition by mainstream Hebrews peaking Israelis.
Not a bad achievement for someone who dared to write that Yigal Amir
did
not murder Yitzhak Rabin.

It is this cultural breakthrough that may have generated some
resentment. I've been "accused" of writing about U.F.O.s -- a heinous
crime if there ever was one.

From 1987-99, Israel saw a barrage of unexplained aerial phenomena,
all
highly publicized by the Hebrew media. Using ethical journalistic
standards, I documented the events and received worldwide recognition
for my efforts. Four episodes of the NBC-TV program Sightings were
dedicated to my discoveries, and in 1999, Fox-TV devoted a full half
hour of prime time to my work. I'm very proud of this period of my
career but the phenomena stopped and I haven't written a word on the
subject in six years.

The next criticism of me is so slanderous that I have actually sued one
obsessive accuser: that is the absurd charge that I am a Holocaust
denier.

Type my name into Google and you will find that my work appears on the
Internet 71,100 times. A few of those sites are run by the deniers.
Talk
about guilt by association. I have no control over the Internet and
anyone who finds my writing useful can copy and paste it into their

As Yaacov Levi, who moderated a pro-Israel Internet discussion group
and
looked into the issue noted: "[Chamish] is always identified as
pro-Israel and a Holocaust 'believer'. They quote him simply because he
raises questions looking for accountability from the Israeli

ONE OF the errors of literally all Israeli writers in English is that
they restrict their audiences to like-minded readers. My audience runs
the gamut of contemporary thinking and by also entering the homes of
the
enemy, I have neutralized much anti-Semitism worldwide. I do this
indirectly by exposing the crimes of those in power who have brought us
"peace", and, I insist, are endangering the existence of our state.

What has also attracted so much reader loyalty is that the "absurd"
claims I made back in the Oslo days have came true. And the "absurd"
claims of my latest book, "Shabtai Tzvi, Labor Zionism and the
Holocaust" will likewise, all prove to be accurate in time.

Permit me to present a few examples of prescience:

Six years ago, I warned my readers not to vote Ariel Sharon. I insisted
he was installed in the Israeli Right to destroy it from within and
that
he would immediately appoint Shimon Peres as his foreign minister.

In my latest book, I claim that Ofra Haza did not die of A.I.D.S. but
was poisoned. Three months ago Haza's sister and her attorney Rami
Tzuberi appeared on the T.V. program Mishal Ham with medical
documentation alleging Ofra Haza was poisoned. Both demanded her
exhumation and a reinvestigation of the circumstances of her demise.

One of the central points of my book "Who Murdered Yitzhak Rabin?", was
that Rabin was not shot twice in the back as the government concluded,
but was actually shot three times, the deadly wound coming from the
front.

On November 3 last year, Channel 2 spent two hours -- I would say --
unintentionally vindicating me in a documentary. The documentary makers
examined Rabin's clothing and said they found the third bullet hole in
the front of his clothing.

The Rectification of the 288 Sparks: The Purpose of Judaism Which the Messiah Heralds

The rectification of the 288 sparks. This is the purpose of Judaism. The purpose of Judaism’s 613 commandments. If you don’t understand the concept of the “288 sparks” and the “breaking of the vessels” then you don’t understand Judaism. To understand Judaism, truly, you must understand the deep stuff. There are no two ways about it. People study the Kabbalah in hopes of understanding the deep stuff.

To make a long story short. After the 288 fallen “sparks” are rectified or “elevated”, according to Jewish tradition, the Messiah will come.

The question arises. Have the 288 sparks been rectified? Has the messiah come?

In the 16th century the great kabbalist, the Arizal, Isaac Luria, claimed that the rectification of the sparks was so near completion that he was almost ready to pronounce himself the messiah. The messiah is so close that he is just “polishing his buttons”. This phrase has comforted Jews for hundreds of years up until today.

How long does it take to polish buttons? I suggest that the buttons have already been polished. The 288 sparks have also been rectified to the level of “Divine” satisfaction. This means that of the fifty or so people who have claimed to have been the messiah over the past two thousand years, at least one of those people…..was. Perhaps more than one.*

It stands to reason that the commandments over time were indeed effective. It would be more difficult to believe that millions of Torah-observant Jews over thousands of years could not rectify the 288 sparks. If that is the case then the effectiveness of the mitzvahs themselves should be called into question. It is the ineffectiveness of the Jewish people that is given as the cause of the problem of elevating the sparks.

But perhaps, as was mentioned before there really is no problem. Indeed the sparks had been satisfactorily elevated.

There is a Catch-22 here. In order for the Jewish people to raise the 288 sparks as they had fallen across time…they needed to endure as a people to pursue the sparks. This very endurance, this status-quo would be threatened once the sparks had been elevated and the time would come for a complete change in lifestyle that would happen with the rectification. It is only natural for the Jews to shoot the messenger who would come to announce that their services would be no longer needed.

This is why every “messiah” would be repudiated and/or killed.

Killing or rejecting the messenger, however, would not eliminate the fact that the rectification of the 288 sparks had indeed occurred. (If it did.)

The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, is thought by some to have been the messiah. Although he was a great man I cannot agree. The Rebbe was naïve when it came to understanding just who was really behind major world events during his lifetime. He believed that

Another Great UN Idea

A top United Nations official has come up with another great UN idea. He devised a strategy to quiet the "demons" across the "wider Islamic world." He said that in order to end the Islamic violence that is taking place in the Middle East, the United States and the international community must respect Hezbollah as a political party, not a terrorist organization.

"Everybody would want a solution here which takes away the recruiting power of Hezbollah in the broader Arab world," said Mark Malloch Brown, the U.N.'s deputy secretary-general. That would be one, he said, that "allows Hezbollah a political future as opposed to a militia future inside an independent Lebanon."


Brown went so far as to say that if the Hezbollah and its adherents are given political acknowledgment then the need for military attacks on Israel would decline.
I haven’t heard anything so ludicrous since the last time someone from the UN opened their mouth. Making Hezbollah a political party would take away their recruiting power? The UN is living in a dream world. The terrorist, military wing of Hezbollah is not disappearing. Most people realize that Hezbollah is not fighting for honor nor are they fighting a border dispute, they are fighting to destroy Israel.Following a Hezbollah attack, its leader, Hassan Nasrallah said “If they (Jews) all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.” (Daily Star, Oct. 23, 2002). Additionally, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has renewed calls on Muslims to rally to the defense of the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah in its war against Israel. One would have to be blind not to realize that these are the words of hateful, homicidal fanatics - not the words of men with a legitimate cause seeking a political forum.



Aside from this, has anyone seen Hamas lately? They too became a political party - a wildly popular one if one can go by the vote - have they changed their ideology? They have not changed their charter saying Israel should be destroyed, they have not changed their method to get their way - as can be seen by the Kassam rockets thrown at Sderot from the Gaza daily.
Do the brilliant thinkers at the UN think that making Hezbollah a political party will change their ideology? Do they think they will stop using civilians as shields for their operations? Southern Lebanese Christians are being used by Hezbollah terrorists as military shields for launching missile attacks. Yesterday former South Lebanese Army commander, Col. Charbel Barakat, said that Hezbollah is repeating the same pattern that it practiced against Israel in 1996, hiding among civilian populations and launching attacks behind human shields.



The Lebanese Christians are complaining bitterly that their families, their homes and their schools are being turned into a battle ground against their will. Christian Solidarity International (CSI), quotes a Christian, who remained nameless because he fears retribution by Hezbollah, from the village of Ain Ebel. This man discovered Hezbollah guerillas setting up a launcher to fire Katyusha rockets from the rooftop of his home. When he realized they were ignoring his pleas to stop firing the missiles, he immediately gathered his family and fled the home, which indeed was bombed and destroyed fifteen minutes later by an Israeli air strike.
In addition to having their homes hijacked for Hezbollah’s attacks, there have been attempts to block Christians from fleeing their villages. On Saturday, July 28, Hezbollah fighters wounded several Christians fleeing Rmeish with their families, according to Christian sources in south Lebanon. Will a political agenda stop this callous and cruel behavior? I doubt it.



Using Mr. Brown’s theory, perhaps the UN would like to try and stop bin Laden’s al-Qeada by offering him a country to rule. In fact, maybe the best idea is to combine those two! Let’s give Uganda - the same country offered to Israel in the 1940's - to Hezbollah and put Osama bin Laden up as president of its democracy - a democracy he will certainly set up as political power will change his ideology. If we give the Hezbollah terrorists a political party within this democracy they will doubtless turn over a new leaf and end fighting.
The ridiculousness of Mark Malloch Brown’s comment is almost surreal because it’s not based on fact. Sadly it echoes the view of most of the people who work in the UN. Sadder still is that the cause of all this violence was Hezbollah aggression. They entered Israel, a foreign country, and kidnaped and killed it soldiers. I don’t recall hearing anything from the UN about freeing those innocent victims, only ideas of what we can do for the terrorist group Hezbollah. But then again I can’t think of any bright idea that the UN has come up with in decades so this shouldn’t really shock anyone.

My heart breaks as Israel loses the war. But her crooked leaders are
doing wonders for the New World Order. Now the Vatican gets in its dibs
and a new trade bloc is in formation. While the rockets fly, the US

And did anyone notice that America no longer patrols Afghanistan? NATO
has taken the reins.Not ten years ago, PM Shimon Peres was tired of the
Grapes Of Wrathmini-war and put an end to it with an attack on Kana
which killed 100 and brought international troops to Lebanon. The week
before, the
leaders of the NWO met in Rome under the kind but stern guidance of
Condeleeza Rice. They decided to put in Lebanon International
Troops...someday. A second Kana bombing, no matter who was responsible,
gave Shimon Peres another chance to bring back his buddies, the French.

was decided that French troops would form the majority of the

with their rabbis. That wasn't the discussion. They wanted "their" land
and that meant Jerusalem."

It was 102 degrees in America, the fields were dessicated by the minute
and I was back in corrupt Israel. I was home. Abraham almost cost Ehud
Olmert
his "honesty," he writes with a broad smirk, by passing him a couple of
spare million dollars, by buying his home for 2.5 times its value in
the
midst of the election campaign. And that, lesser crime, tied Shimon
Peres up
with Ehud Olmert more than politically. Abraham is a valued member
of the milestone to money laundering, the Shimon Peres Peace Center.
And Shimon Peres, the Vatican's chief spy along with Yossi Beilin, is
now
number two in Israel, an apt number if there was one. And all those
crooks and murderers who caused the war, Shimon Peres, Barak, Beilin,
are they
strung from the highest oak tree in the land? Of course not! They go to
cabinet meetings and decide how to kill the most Israelis in one day.
Kati goes on, and I'm now taking notes. It's just like being in Modiin.

"Shimon Peres promised the pope East Jerusalem in May of 1992 and the
Vatican
wants to cash in now. But Ariel Sharon wasn't playing ball. In July of

For twelve years I've been shouting and screaming that Israel's
"leadership" utterly controlled by the Council On Foreign Relations,
known broadly as "the neo-cons", would contrive a war which they would
lose. For that my reputation has been slammed with rumors about my
sanity, sobriety and common sense. When that didn't do the trick, a
common car "accident" was supposed to take care of me. Every effort was
made to shut me up. And you know what, I think that finally "they" did
it. Who needs the crap while my nation dissolves before our eyes?

Here is the Debka Report from July 11. To those who asked, here is how
the New World Order proxy, Israel, started its war with the cooperation
of the NWO enemy Iran. It sure beats Americans and Iranians dying. So
for this, innocents in Israel and Lebanon are doing the suffering and
the dying:

DEBKA:

Maj.-Gen (Ret) Giora Eiland traced the breakdown which allowed a
Hamas-led squad overrun an Israeli army post on the Israeli side of the
southern Gaza border, kill two soldiers and snatch Corporal Gilad
Shalit on June 25, to an “operational” breakdown. He did not lay it at
the door of commanders and their conduct.

“None of them lied or failed to perform their duties,” said Gen.
Eiland,
former national security adviser, in the report on the inquiry the
chief
of staff entrusted him to carry into the causes of the incident at the
Kerem Shalom post.

Most damningly, Eilat affirmed that the corporal’s abduction could have
been aborted. The kidnappers and their hostage were clearly visible on
the unit’s electronic screens as they crossed the border into the Gaza
Strip, but the tank commander delayed by first asking his superior for
permission to open fire and abort their flight.

The only action Chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz took on receipt of
the report Monday, July 10, was to announce he had raised the matter in
conversation with a number of commanders. Halutz made no mention of how
he would handle Eiland’s comprehensive denigration of an “operational
breakdown - from battalion and brigade level all the way up to the top
of the division and general staff. “

Neither was this finding itemized. Eiland himself did not recommend
dismissals. His restraint was no doubt motivated by the general
disinclination to give the enemy free points at a time when the IDF is
engaged in combat in the Gaza Strip, especially when the commanders
targeted for criticism are at the front line.

According to *DEBKA/file/*’s military sources, the two generals are
counting on the Gaza operation, which the IDF launched on June 28,
three
days after the Hamas assault on the army post, stealing the limelight
from the faults found along the entire chain of command. Our sources
say
that Eiland directs most of his disapproval at three to five officers
from the ranks of colonel, brigadier general, major general and
lieutenant general.

At the same time, General Eiland omitted to asked the three searching
questions that might have laid bare the root-causes of the fiasco at
Kerem Shalom:

1. Was this a one-time slip-up or a part of a long-running string of
lapses?

2. Was it the natural, preordained consequence of the operational
directives coming down from the prime minister, the defense minister
via
IDF chiefs?

On June 23, two days before the attack and kidnap, *DEBKA/file/*
exposed
the five taboos prime minister Ehud Olmert and defense minister Amir
Peretz laid down for military operations to counter the Qassam missile
blitz against southern Israel.

One banned Israeli forays into the areas of the missile sites in Gaza
and ambushes on Palestinian side of the border fence.

Eiland refrained from asking whether those strict prohibitions may not
have handicapped the command levels of the army to the point of
rendering them incapable of performing their duties. They officers had
due warning of an impending Palestinian cross-border attack through an
undiscovered tunnel. What more logical than to put IDF ambushes squads
behind enemy lines to trap the assailants when they return to their
base
in Gaza? Knowing they might be there, the Hamas-led kidnap team would
have realized its escape route with Gilad Shalit was blocked and might
have
been deterred from the abduction.

3. The Eiland probe should have examined the strategic concepts guiding
Israel’s top commanders before and after the fall of the Kerem Shalom
post.

Given the far-reaching consequences, the Israeli public is entitled to
a
lot more enlightenment.

The tailored facts released show a prime minister and defense minister
still in a state of denial over the root-causes of the present security
crisis. Israel’s unconsidered disengagement from the Gaza Strip and its
military withdrawal from the Philadelpi border route in September 2005
constitute Israel’s most damaging military and political blunder in a
decade. Until this is confronted and objectively analyzed, the top IDF
brass will be constrained from looking squarely at the escalating
terror
threat posed by Hamas-in-government and addressing it with all the
considerable professionalism at their command.

Such cool analysis is the target of Ehud Olmert’s primary taboo. With
the
premiership, he inherited from Ariel Sharon the deadly fallout from
this
bungle, along with the leadership of the Kadima party, whose only
raison
d’etre after rubber-stamping Sharon’s disengagement from Gaza is to
continue the process on the West Bank.

The scales have fallen from many Israeli eyes in the wake of the Gilad
Shalit disaster. People have begun asking hard questions, such as how
did Hamas come to take over Palestinian government in the first place.
And why is Hamas being permitted to terrorize southern Israeli with
Qassam missiles after the Gaza Strip was handed over lock, stock and
barrel to full Palestinian control. And the missile menace is beginning
to percolate into the West Bank too.

Even some of Kadima’s leading figures appear perplexed.

In his report to the chief of staff, Giora Eiland implied that the IDF
may be in urgent need to revise some of its outdated concepts and apply
a fresh approach to the new realities - even at the cost of standing up
to civilian government. Unless this is broached, Israel’s armed forces
are in for more command failures and further misfortunes.
